DESCRIPTION:As one of the first public cemeteries available to Black people in the St. Louis area\, Father Dickson Cemetery was the site of 12\,000 burials before it closed in the 1970’s. It is rich in American history and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.\n\nThe preservation and maintenance of this historic place relies entirely on the effort and contributions of volunteers and the community. https://fatherdicksoncemetery.org\n  \nPlanned Tasks for Spring Clean Up\n1. Collecting debris (twigs\, limbs\, etc.) from around the property.\n2. Using string trimmers to trim around headstones.\n3. Moving all debris to a central location.\n4.
