DESCRIPTION:At our second annual MLK Day service event\, we’ll be:\n\n– Making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be distributed by the PB&J Brigade to the unhoused\n– Assembling bags of winter supplies to be donated to and distributed by the Salvation Army St. Louis Gateway Citadel in South County centralusa.salvationarmy.org/midland/stlgateway/\n– Organizing and packing donations of non-perishable food items for Forces for Food (food pantry at Jefferson Barracks) thepalozolafoundation.org/forces-for-food.html\n\n\nAlso at the event\, Moms Demand Action will be offering a limited supply of free gun locks to help keep firearms out of kids’ reach.\n\n\nIn addition to your presence\, we’d greatly appreciate donations of the following items:\nCreamy peanut butter\nWhite bread\nStrawberry or grape jelly\nHand warmers\nLong socks (adult sizes)\nKnit hats (adult sizes)\nGloves (adult sizes)\nSugar-free mint gum (for dental hygiene)\nNonperishable food items\n  \nBoxes for packing food donations are also needed.
