MLK Day Service Project

– Making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be distributed by the PB&J Brigade to the unhoused

– Assembling bags of winter supplies to be donated to and distributed by the Salvation Army St. Louis Gateway Citadel in South County centralusa.salvationarmy.org/midland/stlgateway/

– Organizing and packing donations of non-perishable food items for Forces for Food (food pantry at Jefferson Barracks) thepalozolafoundation.org/forces-for-food.html

Also at the event, Moms Demand Action will be offering a limited supply of free gun locks to help keep firearms out of kids’ reach.

In addition to your presence, we’d greatly appreciate donations of the following items:

Creamy peanut butter

White bread

Strawberry or grape jelly

Hand warmers

Long socks (adult sizes)

Knit hats (adult sizes)

Gloves (adult sizes)

Sugar-free mint gum (for dental hygiene)

Nonperishable food items

Boxes for packing food donations are also needed.
